The HUMan INfluence EXperiment (HUMINEX) is happy to launch an open call for participants for its HUMINEX 2.0 study.
Central aim of HUMINEX is the evaluation of the human influence on the supervised Local Climate Zone classification employed in the WUDAPT initiative (http://www.wudapt.org/).
Details and results of the first phase of HUMINEX are published in an open access publication by Benjamin Bechtel et al. (http://www.mdpi.com/2413-8851/1/2/15), also featured in the June 2017 newsletter of the International Association for Urban Climate: http://urban-climate.org/newsletters/IAUC064.pdf.
HUMINEX 2.0 continues this work with an advanced experiment setup, focusing on the city of Berlin, Germany. The experiment is open to everyone, from individuals to university courses.
At the moment already close to 100 contributions to HUMINEX 2.0 have been made, but we are still searching for participants.
Deadline for contributions is November 1, 2017. For more information please visit the WUDAPT website (http://www.wudapt.org/huminex-2-0/), where you can find all the information and course materials for HUMINEX 2.0.
