This training course will cover all aspects of urban meteorology, environment (including air quality) and climate. By the end of the course participants will be able to critique siting of instrumentation in urban areas, undertake modelling of urban areas and know how to deliver climate services in urban areas.
Detailed Description
This course is part of the WMO education and training programme.
All participants are required to register to apply for a place on the course. This is done by completing a purchase (FREE OF CHARGE) on this system (see link below). Following registration, participants will be sent an application form by email which should be returned no later than 14 July. The number of spaces on the course is limited to 25 participants. The local cost of the training course is 450 GBP (578 CHF) which will cover course fees, accommodation, breakfast and lunch.
Note there are some funded places available (review of these will start on 17 July).
